Steve Burrill is our Healthcare CEO at Lazear Capital. He adds to our team’s extensive leadership and experience in all aspects of healthcare working with and supporting, owners and management at our clients as well as bringing technical expertise in M&A, performance improvement, technology, operations, accounting and reporting and governance.

Steve was previously with Deloitte for 37 years where he was the firm’s Vice Chairman and USA Healthcare Practice Leader for Deloitte’s consulting, audit and tax practices. As a Consulting Partner at Deloitte, Steve focused on both the largest and most complex healthcare organizations as well as smaller companies focused on post-acute care, long term care, skilled nursing and senior living. Steve has extensive mergers and acquisitions experience including tax planning, tax structuring, and deal term negotiations.

Steve studied at the University of California at Santa Barbara (BA Economics) and at Columbia University (Management Program). Steve is also a Certified Public Accountant.
